Assess plugs into the tools you already use. Pick a path below — native ATS connectors create AI interview rooms; Zapier / n8n / Make send assessment invites; Slack and Teams get pass/fail alerts.

ATS

Native connectors need Growth+. Long-tail ATS use webhooks + the Public API.

Greenhouse

Harvest API — interview rooms + invite recipes

Lever

API key or OAuth — notes on opportunities

Ashby

API key or OAuth — application notes

Workday

Basic auth + RaaS — optional stage filter

BambooHR

API key + subdomain

Zoho Recruit

OAuth — stage filter; inbound needs Pro+

Breezy HR

API token — stage filter; inbound needs Pro

Other ATS via webhooks

Dover, Binary, TalentHR, Indeed, and custom tools

Chat destinations

Slack

Connect Slack or Incoming Webhook — pass/fail in channel

Microsoft Teams

Teams Incoming Webhook connector

Automations & agents

Automations overview

When to use Zapier, n8n, Make, or a custom worker

n8n

Verified community node

Zapier

Assess app — events, invites, pipelines

Make

Custom App — Watch Assess Event + modules

Build with agents

Knowledge MCP, API MCP, and hiring skills for Cursor / Claude / Codex

MCP / agents

Coding agents that call Assess API tools

Webhooks

HTTPS destinations, signatures, delivery logs

Two loops (do not mix them up)

Native connectors do not send assessment invites today. A Greenhouse stage change does not create a take-home link unless you add Zapier, n8n, or Make.

For engineers

Scope for status endpoints: organisation:read. Open connect_url in a browser as owner, admin, or developer — do not complete OAuth from a server alone. Providers post into Assess at:
Those inbound webhooks create interview rooms, not assessment invites. Destinations (HTTPS / Slack / Teams) use /webhooks/ — see Webhooks.
